I am fortunate to have three of Roy's paintings and have had the pleasure of seeing many others in development or complete. Many of them I look at and think 'just where could I put this?' because I am attracted to them so easily. He is simply so talented that he can put the Awbery magic into abstract series such as the Elements one moment and then to Christmas scenes the next.... and then when you dont expect it, ships and even dinosaurs!
Indeed, I will be commissioning Roy in 2021 to take the concept of some of his previous paintings in order to match the many green and brown shades that surround us in the hills and valleys in Wales.
Without doubt he has a real talent and I look forward to welcoming more of his art into our home
