Colourful buildings on St. Michael's Hill, Bristol
When not tucked away painting in my studio I'm also a scientist, well I lead a team of scientists these days but it does take me to the University of Bristol occasionally. Today, I took a longer walk to my meeting and made a point of actually seeing what was around me. I've passed these buildings loads of times and never noticed them before! Amazingly vibrant colours on what would otherwise be fairly shabby architecture.
As I wandered around I also spotted, on the same road, an old Alms House, or at least that's what I think it is.
